How to Import Data into MS SQL Server & Snowflake via Alteryx?

You will have to manipulate the data resides in multiple platforms when you do the data analysis, machine learning, reporting, etc. We are going to discuss how to leverage Alteryx to upload the data in MS Excel into MS SQL Server and Snowflake.

MS Excel to MS SQL Server

Required: ODBC setup for MS SQL server.

Steps:

1. Input

1.1 Drag Icon “Input Data” into the canvas.

1.2 Click on the icon and select the database.

1.3 Select target Excel file or drag the file into the above area.

2. Output

2.1 Drag Icon “Output Data” into the canvas.

2.2 In Data Source, click on ODBC under Microsoft SQL Server section.
